Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was again seen frustratedly smashing a tablet during a game against the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome.

The Buccaneers were trailing 3-0 in the third quarter when Brady appeared to throw a Microsoft tablet to the ground in frustration, as he did last December during Tampa Bay's 9-0 Sunday Night Football primetime loss in Week 15 of the 2021 NFL season.

This time, however, the incident proceeded to a Buccaneers rally in which the team outscored the Saints, 20-7, during the remainder of the second half to win 20-10.

''It's an emotional game,'' Brady said after the game via Yahoo Sports. ''A little bit of execution helps all the way around. I thought the defense played well again and the offensive line fought hard."

''Tough game all around,'' Brady added. ''That is a really good team, really well coached - a team we really struggle with. So, it feels good to win.''

Brady finished Sunday's game with 190 yards and a touchdown on 18 of 34 passing, having been held under 200 passing yards for the first time since December 2020.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion is the NFL's all-time passing leader for yards and touchdowns, as well as quarterback wins, among numerous other records.

Mike Tomlin Addressed QB Situation After Week 2 Loss

Mike Tomlin Addressed QB Situation After Week 2 Loss

Photo: Justin K.Aller

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he isn't ready to panic after his team's sluggish offensive performance during a Week 2 loss to the New England Patriots.

The Steelers were once again held to just one offensive touchdown as fans at Acrisure Stadium chanted "Kenny" in support of backup rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett over veteran starter Mitchell Trubisky, who finished Sunday's game with 168 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 21 of 33 passing.

"I'm going to exercise appropriate patience and continue to teach and ask the guys to continue to learn in an effort to continue to push this train down the track and get better," Tomlin said when asked if he was satisfied with the team's playcalling via ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "I think that if anyone is sitting here on Monday in Week 2 of this thing feeling happy, they're probably wrong or misinformed."

Trubisky was named as the Steelers' starting quarterback days ahead of the 2022 NFL season, despite the team investing long-term in Pickett, who was already popular among the local fanbase as a former standout at the University of Pittsburgh.

Last month, ESPN's Dianna Russini reported that Pittsburgh's starting role was "Mitchell Trubisky's job to lose," despite Pickett's strong performances through two preseason games and training camp.

In July, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Trubisky appeared to be "leading" the steelers' quarterback competition during the team's first week of training camp.

Trubisky was getting the "first crack at winning the starting QB job," according to Rapoport, who said the former No. 2 overall pick is "a perfect system fit" in offensive coordinator Matt Canada's offense, despite the team having recently invested its long-term plans in Pickett, the No. 20 overall pick in this year's draft.

Trubisky signed a two-year deal with the Steelers in March, sources with knowledge of the deal confirmed to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo at the time.

Trubisky made 50 career starts during his five seasons with the Chicago Bears, finishing with a 29-21 QB record, as well as throwing for 10,609 yards, 64 touchdowns, and 37 interceptions on 1,010 of 1,577 passing, while also recording 1,057 yards and eight touchdowns on 190 rushing attempts.

Pickett, a Heisman Trophy finalist, was one of college football's most decorated passers in 2021, winning numerous national awards while leading the Pittsburgh Panthers, who share a football facility and stadium with the Steelers, to an ACC championship and 11-2 record.

The Vikings Will Try To Replace Kirk Cousins After This Season

The Vikings Will Try To Replace Kirk Cousins After This Season

Photo: Timothy Nwachukwu

Jason Smith: "Kirk Cousins is going to wind up being Ryan Fitzpatrick. After this year, you know the Vikings are going to want to start over. It's going to be another year of 'maybe next year the Vikings are going to be good.' Eventually, hope leaves the building, and the hope that they can build a championship team with Kirk Cousins is going to be gone. Tonight in a game on national TV, he was terrible. But that's kind of who he has been. He's not suddenly going to change and become a great quarterback. After this year, you're going to see a big changeover. They will try to move on from Kirk Cousins. This is the rubber meets the road year for him. This is going to be it for Kirk in Minnesota."

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the Vikings losing to the Eagles on Monday night. Jason explains why the Vikings should look to replace Kirk Cousins after this season, despite their large investment in him. Jason believes Cousins has been given more than enough opportunities to prove that he could lead Minnesota to a deep playoff run, but his notable primetime struggles have become too momentous to overcome and the franchise needs to accept that this is as good as Kirk Cousins can be.

'What is Tua Great At?': Colin Cowherd Shuts Down the Tua Tagovailoa Hype

'What is Tua Great At?': Colin Cowherd Shuts Down the Tua Tagovailoa Hype

Colin Cowherd: “Tua is going to start putting up big numbers as we’ve predicted all off-season and you’re going to get fooled and suddenly think he’s great. Congratulations for hitting a bunch of wide-open guys on broken coverage. He’s still small and not very athletic with an average deep arm. You suddenly now think he’s tall and really athletic? This is so predictable. They give him an offensive coach, they get him Tyreek Hill, he already had Jaylen Waddle, they get him Cedrick Wilson, both the running backs look dynamic, they get him an All-Pro left tackle, and his numbers go up as we told you they would and everybody freaks out. Ask yourself, where does Tua rank in the AFC? Is he Josh Allen? Hell no. Herbert? No. Burrow, despite the 0-2 record? No. Patrick Mahomes? No. Lamar Jackson? NO. What is Tua great at? Size? Arm? Athletic ability? He’s accurate, so is Jimmy G. We saw it at Alabama and we saw it yesterday, he can hit wide-open fast guys. He’s a good kid, he’s great at the podium, I really like him, he’s taken a lot of crap, the Flores stuff was bad, Deshaun Watson rumors… He’s been a wonderful kid, and the Drew Brees comparison is silly, but there’s a little Drew Brees in which he’s not going to be great over the top, but he’ll be good at the line, he’s a good guy, he’ll accurately throw it… Hell, Tua admitted last week ‘I can’t see over the line, I’m too small.’ He admitted it! I think he’s a left-handed Mac Jones. You’re going to talk yourself into him being Herbert, Lamar, Mahomes, and he’s NOT. He can hit open guys with protection, that’s not his issue, but suddenly yesterday I’m on social and it’s ‘OMG, TUA IS____’… Small. ‘TUA IS____’… Not that athletic. I can like something but not go gaga and fall in love with it. I like the story and for the next two years he's going to win a bunch of games, and this year he’s into the playoffs, but the reaction is so predictable. Of course he’s going to improve his numbers, they weren’t even terrible last year.” (Full Video Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd tamp down the Tua Tagovailoa hype a day after the third-year quarterback threw a career-high six touchdown passes in a thrilling comeback victory over the Ravens.

Check out the video above as Colin details why the Tua praise on social media needs to stop, saying that all Tua did was hit wide-open receivers down the field in clean pockets.

Thursday Night Football left us with an entertaining game that saw the Kansas City Chiefs come back against the Los Angeles Chargers. Ben Maller points out that Patrick Mahomes didn't play all that special and this was really a case of the Chargers giving the game away.

Ben Maller: "That was a General Mills performance from Patrick Mahomes. Looking at my notes here, there was not one, not two, not three, but FOUR balls that could have, should have been intercepted. None of them were. And that is a Lucky Charms kind of a night there."

Tom Brady & Gisele Not Living Together, Dealing With Marital Issues: Report

Tom Brady & Gisele Not Living Together, Dealing With Marital Issues: Report

Photo: John Lamparski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bündchen are reportedly no longer living together amid "marital issues," a source close to the couple told CNN on Thursday (September 15).

A separate source close to Bündchen also told CNN that the couple is currently "living separately."

The report comes days after Bündchen addressed "concerns" over her husband continuing his NFL career for a 23rd season in an exclusive interview with Elle magazine amid reports of a recent "epic fight."

“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen said.

The Brazilian model said she's "definitely had those conversations with him over and over again," but ultimately believes, "everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]" and said that "he needs to follow his joy, too."

“I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [my husband],” Bündchen told Elle. “I moved to Boston [during his time with the New England Patriots], and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.

“Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career — it makes me happy,” Bündchen added.

On Sunday (September 11), Bündchen tweeted support for Brady ahead of his Week 1 primetime matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

"Let’s go @TomBrady ! Let’s go Bucs," Bündchen posted minutes before the Buccaneers' first game of the 2022 NFL season.

The tweet came days after previous reports that Brady and Bündchen were no longer living together amid an ongoing fight, according to TMZ Sports.

The report came days after Page Six, which initially reported the couple was going through an "epic fight," hadn't yet reconciled despite Bündchen returning to Florida from Costa Rica.

A source with knowledge of the situation told the website that the supermodel "isn't back with Tom" and "flew back to Florida to be with her kids but hasn't been to their home in Tampa."

Bündchen was believed to be staying in Miami during her time away from her husband. The source also denied reports of the couple divorcing as being "not true."

Multiple sources claimed that the couple was involved in a series of heated arguments over Brady's recent decision to un-retire from the NFL before leaving their family compound in Tampa for Costa Rica, which coincided with the quarterback's recent absence from the Buccaneers.

Last month, Brady spoke candidly while finally publicly addressing his more than 10-day absence from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the team's 27- 10 preseason loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

"It's all personal, you know, everyone's got different situations they're dealing with, so we all have really unique challenges to our life. I'm 45 years old, man. There's a lot of s*** going on so, you know, you've just got to try to figure out life the best you can, you know, it's a continuous process," Brady told reporters after the game via Yahoo Sports.

League sources with knowledge of the situation told Pro Football Network that Brady made a commitment to spend time with his family, primarily his wife, at an exclusive resort during his time away from the team, which was planned before his decision to return for his 23rd NFL season in March, just weeks after his initial retirement announcement.

"His commitment to family and having a personal life was at the heart of this hiatus from football, and there was no medical emergency, as speculated, or other reasons," Pro Football Network wrote, which was re-shared on Twitter by NFL reporter Dov Kleiman.

Brady returned to the Buccaneers on August 22 after initially being absent from the team since August 11.

"#Bucs QB Tom Brady is not at practice today for personal, non-football reasons," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted at the time.. "Coach Todd Bowles will discuss it after practice, but my understanding is he won't be present for a few days."

Rapoport added that "Brady is fine and the team is on board with his reasons for being absent," but noted that it would "be a little bit" of time before the seven-time Super Bowl champion was expected to return at the time of the initial report.

Bowles later confirmed that Brady was expected to be away from the team until after the Bucs' preseason game against the Tennessee Titans on August 20, according to Rapoport.

Brady, who turned 45 last month, announced his retirement, then un-retirement this offseason ahead of his 23rd NFL season.

Brady is the NFL's all-time passing leader for yards (84,732) and touchdowns (625), as well as quarterback wins (244), among numerous other records.

The San Mateo native spent his first 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, leading the franchise to an NFL record six Super Bowl championships (tied with the Steelers), before joining the Buccaneers as a free agent in March 2020, which resulted in Tampa Bay winning its second Super Bowl in franchise history, becoming the first NFL team to win a Super Bowl in its home stadium, in February 2021.

Jason Smith: “Now that this happened, Adam Silver can go back to the owners and say ‘Hey, the game’s in trouble, I gotta do something here. I gotta ban Robert Sarver, I don’t wanna do it, but I kind of have to’ and the owners will capitulate, they’ll agree and have to say ‘Yes, we understand, we know you didn’t want to do it, but wow the players are really mad, coaches don’t like this, nobody likes this. You gotta do what you gotta do.’ He’s gonna get the right result, which is Robert Sarver out of the game.”

On today’s edition of The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, Jason and Mike discuss the latest developments in the case of Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver, and how NBA commissioner Adam Silver will eventually end up at the right punishment for Sarver.

Blazing Five: Colin Cowherd Gives His 5 Best NFL Bets For Week 2 (Sep. 18)

Blazing Five: Colin Cowherd Gives His 5 Best NFL Bets For Week 2 (Sep. 18)

(VIDEO SEGMENT ABOVE)

Week 1 Blazin' 5 record: 3-2

Commanders at Lions (SPREAD: DET -1.5)

“I like Detroit here at home -1.5. They’re 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 games so they’re a good cover team. People forget this, Jared Goff at home has been great, 97.3 passer rating and 68.9% completion percentage. He’s been a great home quarterback. He doesn’t have a big arm but there’s no wind inside. The Commanders defense last week allowed almost 6.5 yards per play to the JAGUARS, with a second-year quarterback and bad o-line. Detroit has a really good line and lots of offensive weapons. Lions win 27-21.”

Colin's prediction: Lions 27, Commanders 21.

Colin's pick: Detroit -1.5

Patriots at Steelers (SPREAD: NE -2.5)

“I’m going to take the Patriots -2.5, a slight favorite at Pittsburgh. First of all, the Patriots haven’t started 0-2 in 21 years, but beyond that Belichick has been really strong against Pittsburgh and Tomlin, he holds them to about 18 points per game. Mac Jones won six roadies last year, don’t worry about that, what I worry about is the Steelers; TJ Watt out and Najee Harris not healthy. Let’s be honest, they got a lead with Trubisky and basically clung to life. He averaged 5.1 yards per attempt with those receivers. This coaching staff doesn’t trust this quarterback. I think Belichick is going to own Trubisky, it’s going to be defense mostly, and the Patriots get a win 24-20.”

Colin's prediction: Patriots 24, Steelers 20.

Colin's pick: New England -2.5

Buccaneers at Saints (SPREAD: TB -2.5)

“Listen, Brady is 0-4 against the Saints [in the regular season] for a reason, they’ve got really good defensive players. I like the Saints to win here, they’re getting points at home. Jameis Winston, for all his quirkiness, was great in the second half [of Week 1]. He’s got Michael Thomas back, he had five catches. He’s got Jarvis Landry now, a really good number two receiver. The Bucs offense has o-line issues, banged up at receiver – Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, Russell Gage, all banged up this week along with their offensive line, and I get the Saints getting points at home?? I mean, you watched Tampa last week, Dallas was BAD, Tampa really wasn’t that good, they struggled offensively. I like the Saints to win out by a field goal 27-24.”

Colin's prediction: Saints 27, Bucs 24.

Colin's pick: New Orleans +2.5

Bears at Packers (SPREAD: GB -9.5)

“I hate big favorites but I think Green Bay -9.5 is the big favorite I most love this weekend. Listen, they’re 9-0 after a loss under LaFleur, and Rodgers has owned the Bears; 22-2 in his career. But here’s the thing, Bears got outgained by 130 yards by the Niners and their offensive line ranked 31st according to PFF. They averaged fewer yards per play than any team in the league and had the fewest yards, they just beat a worse offense. Chicago is not a good team, they’ve got a bad o-line, and I think the Packers defense is the best defense they’ve had personnel wise maybe in Aaron Rodgers’ career. I think Green Bay rolls. The Bears defense also allowed the highest passer rating to quarterbacks last year, it’s why they drafted a corner and safety with their first picks. Aaron rolls, wins by 11 and it won’t be that close, 31-20.”

Colin's prediction: Packers 31, Bears 20.

Colin's pick: Green Bay -9.5

Vikings at Eagles (SPREAD: PHI -1.5)

“Love the Vikings but not Kirk Cousins on Monday night. I’m taking the Eagles here. I’m sorry, Andy Dalton or Kirk Cousins in a big Monday Night game I’m running for the hills. The Eagles scored 38 points [last week], they had no giveaways. It’s a productive offense. They had the most Big Plays [over 20 yards] in the NFL last season with 128. Do you realize that? It’s a big play offense they’re just contrarian and different.  Against the Lions they did it again –passing, running, RPO’s; it’s a handful and it’s hard to duplicate at practice. Kirk Cousins is 2-9 for his career on Monday Night, and the Vikings are coming off a massive primetime divisional win. They'll pull back, go on the road, the Eagles are going to ball-control you to death so Justin Jefferson is going to watch more of this game than he’s going to play. I like the Eagles to win a wildly entertaining game 28-24 on Monday Night Football.”

Colin's prediction: Eagles 28, Vikings 24

Colin's pick: Philadelphia -1.5
